Mondays (the following day if Monday falls on a holiday), periods of each exhibition changes and during year end and New Year holidays (December 29 - January 3). May be temporarily closed for other reasons.
Admission
Varies with the exhibition
Admission is free to junior high school students and younger children, holders of handicap certification and one caretaker, and all visitors on Prefecture Day (October 28).

1.To Tatebayashi Station
Take the Tobu Skytree Line (connecting to Tobu Isesaki Line) from Asakusa Station or Kita-Senju Station.

*If you take the Limited Express RYOMO, the journey from Asakusa Station (via Kita-Senju) to Tatebayashi Station is approx. 60 min-long. If you take the JR Utsunomiya Line (Shonan Shinjuku Line), change to the Tobu Isesaki Line at Kuki Station. The journey from Kuki Station to Tatebayashi Station is approx. 30 min-long.
2.From Tatebayashi Station to the museum
By taxi (approx. 4 km, about 10 min) or By bus “Tatara Junkaisen” (about 30min) from the West Exit of Tatebayashi Station to the bus stop “Kenritsu Tatebayashi Bijutsukan-mae” (in front of the museum) or to the bus stop “Tatara Kouminkan-minami” (from the bus-stop to the museum, approx. 800 m, 15 min walk)
