群馬県立館林美術館

The museum presents special events, programs, and lectures that help the public better under stand the art that appears in museum exhibitions and give them a more vivid and intimate experience of art . Events are organized for people of all ages. A "Friends of the Museum" organization and other volunteer activities are established in order to give interested people opportunities to expand and apply their knowledge of art and become more actively involved with the museum. Also , the museum works together with schools to create effective art appreciation programs for children.
